Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the National Park of the same name in Uttarakhand. Visiting here you will surely feel as if you have entered into a dream. The surrounding area has many glaciers and waterfalls which add to the magic. It’s the place to escape from all your worries and stress.

Itinerary

Day 1Joshimath

Pick-up from Dehradun and drive to Joshimath (8 hrs). It is a small town amid a very scenic landscape. After reaching, you can walk around the market and meet local people. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Joshimath.

Day 2Govindghat - Ghangria

After breakfast, drive to Govindghat and from there trek to Ghangaria Village. This little village is a popular stop for pilgrims travelling to Hemkund Sahib. Dinner and overnight stay in Ghangaria village.

Day 3Valley of Flowers

After breakfast, trek to the Valley of Flowers (10 km). After reaching, have lunch and spend two to three hours amongst thousands of flowers. The fragrance, the environment, an the climate will leave you awestruck. It’s a picture-perfect location. Later, trek back to Ghangaria Village. Dinner and overnight stay at Ghangaria.

Day 4Hemkund Sahib

After breakfast, trek to Hemkund Sahibji – a holy place of the Sikh. The lake, the hills, the spirituality, all together create a moment that will leave you speechless. Later trek back to Ghangaria Village. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Ghangariia.

Day 5Badrinath

After breakfast, trek back to Govindghat. In the afternoon, drive to Badrinath and visit the Pandukeshwar temple on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Badrinath.

Day 6Dehradun/Rishikesh

After breakfast, drive back to either Dehradun or Rishikesh. On the way, have lunch at Devprayag. On reaching Rishikesh/Dehradun, depart for home with beautiful memories of the trek.
