Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Rakcham / Sangla
On the way, take photo stops at Sangla, Kamru Fort and Rakcham meadow. At an altitude of 3450 mts, it is the last inhabited village situated near the Indo-Tibetan border and lies on the north bank of the serene river Baspa.

Today after breakfast, depart for Kalpa
One of the major attractions is the magnificent view of Kinnaur-Kailash mountain from here. Nestled in the valley of the Sutlej River, it is considered the most scenic place in all of Himachal.
Visit the charming Roghi Village, hidden 8 km from Kalpa.
Evening at the Roghi Suicide Point, a cliff that will take your breath away.
Take a walk through Kalpa Village, experience local food, interact with people, explore the local monasteries

After breakfast, proceed from the forest of central Himachal and enter the cold desert region of upper Kinnaur.
On the way, stop for photos at Khab Bridge to witness the confluence of rivers Sutlej and Spiti.
Reaching Nako Village, involves an interesting drive crossing Kamloops.
Nako, a Tibetan village, is home to the most pristine lake you’ll probably ever come across and it is the best spot to view the highest mountain of Himachal, Reo Purgyil (6816 MT).

After breakfast, proceed to Kaza. On the way, you’ll make a few must-visit pit stops
Tabo Village (3280 mt), famously known as the ‘Ellora of North’. Tabo Monastery here is a complex that holds 9 Temples, 23 Chortens, a Monk’s Chamber & Nun’s Chamber. The monastery contains a large number of Scriptures & Pieces of Art, Wall paintings & Stucco.
Dhankar Gompa is situated amidst a rocky cliff with a beautiful view of the landscape below.
Mud Village – This place is like a green oasis in the middle of a desert.
Gue Village – is home to the 500-year-old mummified body of Sangha Tenzin with his teeth still intact. Visit here will certainly be interesting and add a little dark tourism flavour to this trip.
Kaza is a well-developed town. Here you’ll find an amazing combination of and balance between modern infrastructure and local festive culture. You can spend leisure time here shopping for handicrafts and souvenirs, or go cafe hopping!

Ever heard of Hamlet hopping? That’s what day 6 is all about. Today you’ll not only experience the beauty of Spiti’s little hamlets but also go fossil-spotting.

Key Monastery (4166 mt) – on the bank of the cold Spiti river, this Gompa has an entire complex for Tibetan Buddhist monks to live, study and practice.
Drive to Kibber for Hotel Stay

After breakfast, proceed to Chandratal (3 hrs, 4300 mt).On the way, the photo stops at Chichim bridge, the highest bridge in Asia and Kunzum La, the highest point in this journey (4551 m).
Chandratal, as the name suggests, is a region named after a crescent-shaped lake. Not only shape-wise but also beautiful, the lake is as mesmerising and romantic as the moon. The camping experience in Chandratal will definitely make you want to not go back home.

After breakfast we will proceed to India’s favourite holiday destination “Manali”.
The journey to Manali is in itself an adventure with sloppy roads and a drive along the Chandra river.
You’ll be able to spot Atal Tunnel on the way, the world’s longest highway single tube tunnel above 10,000 feet.
Spend the day at leisure in Manali, walking and shopping around mall road and old Manali.
