This trek takes you to the top of Chandrashila. On the way, you’ll pass by large patches of pine, oak, and rhododendron. You’ll also come across many incredible Himalayan birds and animals. Chandrashila summit is the perfect place to get a view of many other magnificent peaks. This is a trek you do not want to miss out on.

Early morning pick-up from Haridwar Railway Station and drive to Sari Village. This village is a scenic little hamlet right out of some picture book. It is enclosed by oak and rhododendron trees. You will love being in this calm and serene place before starting with the trek.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sari village.
After breakfast, start off today with a short trek to Deoriatal. This campsite is home to the most clear and pristine lake that you’ll ever see. Camping near this lake will refresh you enough to be able to complete the next day’s trek easily.

After breakfast, trek to Chopta (7-8 hrs). This trail passes through Rohini Bugyal. You’ll come across many picturesque waterfalls on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite in Chopta.
Today is the day you’ll touch the summit and can revel upon successfully reaching the top. It’s an 8 km trek from Chopta to Tungnath to Chandrashila.From the top you’ll get views of Garhwal and Kumaon mountains, Nanda Devi peak, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, Kedar, Thalaysagar, Gangotri ranges and so many other mountains.
The same day, trek back to Chopta. Dinner and overnight stay in Chopta.
The last day of the trip, drive back from Chopta to Haridwar. Depart home from there with beautiful memories of the trek.
